@@gllennu123stillplays most of the name brands are a good bet, Liquid Force, Hyperlite, Slingshot, Etc. As for the specific model it depends on your personal preferences. @@wesleymaduro5592 the Magnum is definitely a rad board but it is for big dudes with big feet. Since it’s for a very specific rider that’s probably why you don’t see a lot of reviews. Think of it as the big brother to the SMP. Comparably since there is much more length and width they do an upgraded core and sidecut to make it lighter and easier to turn. @@nanocalderon1997 haha, saw your DM on instagram before your comment here. If you are checking out boards in your size range (162-164) most are going to have wider waist widths already. You really just need to take into account everything that is said in the video (actual waist, skill level, conditions, specific board, etc) to see if you would benefit or not from a wide board.

If you want an easier, catch free, floatier feel go with the Flying V. If you want a more aggressive, snappier feel go with the camber. One isn’t better than the other it’s really just personal preference.

I have not ridden either of them so I can't say but I can almost guarantee it would be the Swath. I am a big "standard laces" guy because I like the customization of the 3 lacing zones. The Ruler SO is a single BOA so I would definitely prefer to have at least 2 lacing zones of the Swath instead on 1 on the Ruler

I can see pro's and con's of having the bindings on or off, but at the end of the day I wouldn't worry about it too much.

It’s kind of a replacement for the Skeleton Key and Flight Attendant. Super fun board!!

Oh man, theres so many good boards. It really depends on what riding style you are looking for. All boards ride great it's just about your personal preferences or just knowing how to ride different shapes/profiles. Some of the standouts for me personally were the Mega Death, Alekesam, Warpig, Outerspace Living, Assassin Pro, Escape and Legitimizer. And those are just out of the boards I actually rode. 🤷‍♂

Like Matt said in the video, volume shift boards are a great options for riders with a little more weight. I'd check out the Ride Warpig in a 142, great all mountain board that will be the proper length but feel like a bigger board for your weight. Enjoy the ride!

Are all Warpig models volume shifted? I mean like older models from past years? :)

@@Kaugummiautomat42 yes, the Warpig is one of the OG’s when it comes to volume shifted boards.

142 seems like a nice choise, but 148 would be suitable accordiong to weight recomendation (up to 73kg - considering weight including gear, up to 80kg would be "save") should I still look for the 142 (avoiding to have it too long) or 148 (as weight limit on boards was the initial thought of volume shifting board) :D - sorry for throwing some stupid randomquestons :D

@@Kaugummiautomat42 It's all good, these are great questions to ask. Depending on your riding style you would still be fine on the 142. Unless you are going out and riding fast and carving hard most of the day that would be the only reason to NEED to bump up to the 148

The "3D specific" line up has been taken out so no more Double Dog, Daily Driver, or Deep Daze. That being said they are still using some of the 3D shaping in other boards in the lineup including the new 3D Channel Surfer

@@brianp9268 a “shadowban” is an mmo lingo. It means to be banned from a game by the GMs without notification…. Typically if you bought in-game currency or sell/bought an account from ebay, the GM will ban that individual from the game and their account for a violation of their terms of service, from back in the days… Algorithm is computer code-talk… GM or Game Moderator… Deepfake is a reference to AI generated videos, images and sounds… It just seems like some names come from online gaming talk…

The D.O.A. is a great next step from the Pathfinder for sure. It will ride everywhere from the park to the pow! Another board to consider is the Mercury if you don't ride park that often. The Mercury is still an all mountain board but more on the "freeride" side of things.

I just looked up the company M8trix snowboards and it seems like they are/were some sort of off-brand making inexpensive boards where performance is definitely not a focus in the designs. That being said it seems like you could really benefit from a softer, beginner/intermediate style board with some rocker in the tips to give you some confidence having a catch-free feel. One thing that could help a lot too is to check out our "SHREDUCATION" playlist. It’s got the standard camber/rocker in nose. Definitely closer to a standard freeride board but for sure more float with the wider nose like the Fish
